Three Top Destinations For Your Easter Break!

Viva Las Vegas
Celebrating its 20th year, Viva Las Vegas rockabilly weekend is the biggest and best celebration of 1950s culture in the world. Since its launch as a small music weekender in 1997, Viva has grown year on year. Highlights include over 100 rockin’ bands, the world’s most impressive car show featuring hundreds of pre 1963 cars and a burlesque performance by Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese. Of course, for us, the real highlight is always the three day long pool party, the perfect location to show off our glamorous retro swimsuits. The Orleans hotel is transformed into a glamorous tiki Oasis with coconut cocktails and hula girls. There are few places one earth that boast so many fabulous vintage swimsuits in one place (there’s even three swimsuit competitions, one for men, women and couples.). Tunes for the party will be courtesy of Eddie Angel himself. Style your For Luna swimsuit with red lipstick and some cat-eyed shades and you’re ready to hit the party! Don’t forget your beach towel!
There are few people on earth who capture glamour and sophistication quite like the Italians. And when it comes to holidays, we can’t think of anywhere with more old school glamour or charm than Capri. In the 1960s this was the holiday destination of choice for the rich and famous. Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Grace Kelly and Clarke Gable all holidayed here and it’s easy to see why. The island is an hour ferry ride from both Naples and Sorrento and is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the Mediterranean. We recommend the boutique hotel Scalinatella, situated on a fabulous cliff-top location. The hotel boasts a gorgeous pool - no better place to lounge about in your glamorous one piece, channeling your inner Sophia Loren! With fresh seafood and expert cooking, the food, like most you find in Italy, is divine.
If you are looking for a shorter trip this Easter, Dublin is the place to go. Just an hour on the plane from most UK cities, you won’t waste too much of your precious time off on a cramped plane or airport departures lounge. Check into the super chic Marker hotel with its stunning views of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. Spend the day shopping in the creative district (we recommend Powerscourt centre– a treasure trove of Irish design where you’ll find unusual and original pieces). For dinner, try 777, one of the best Mexican restaurants this side of Acapulco. For drinks, it has to be the Vintage Cocktail Club, a sassy, classy cocktail bar full of old school charm (be sure to make a reservation – it books up weeks in advance). If you fancy some pampering, and want to show off your fabulous new retro swimsuit from For Luna, you need to check into the Spa at the Marker hotel for some five star relaxation!
